Department of Psychology

Introduction

Psychology has become an important discipline now a days due to its relevancy with business, management and economic decision-making process. Department of Psychology is offering BS Psychology (04 years). We aim to produce competent young graduates who will be able to understand the human mind and behavior and will use this knowledge for their well being. The department of psychology intends to enhance the understanding of behavioral and cognitive processes pertaining to the complex human psyche through underpinning the strategic solutions to both individual and societal problems. The department will inculcate the spirit of understanding of human nature among the students. It intends to motivate the students to use basic skills in scientific research, the knowledge of psychological concepts and its applications in other diverse fields of life.

Eligibility

At least 45% marks in Intermediate or equivalent (Sociology/Psychology/ Education/Economics/Stat/ Philosophy/Pre-Medical) are required to apply.
