Department of Physics
Introduction
In the early time Physics was taught at intermediate level and later on with the completion of high standard modern labs, the BSc (2-Year degree program ) was offered in the department of Physics in 1944. Since then physics labs have been renovated as well as new apparatus has been furnished. Students do practical and also projects that are very helpful to understand the theoretical knowledge and understandings. The Department of Physics offers theoretical as well as practical work for the students. There are four well established labs that include Electronics, Modern Physics, Magnetism and Solid State labs. In each semester students perform projects exhibition poster presentations. The department has also conducted a Physics symposium and in near future department is going to arrange one symposium in each semester. Department of the Physics is playing it’s humble part for the prosperity of the students as well as for the nation.
